Investigator-initiated Trials (IIT) am UKE

Für klinische Prüfungen am Menschen, die von Mitgliedern der Medizinische Fakultät des Universitätsklinikums Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) initiiert und durchgeführt werden (Investigator Initiated Trials; IITs), kann der UKE-Vorstand, vertreten durch die Dekanin der Medizinischen Fakultät, die Funktion des Sponsors übernehmen. Gemäß dem am UKE implementierten Delegationsprinzip wird im Rahmen eines strukturierten Verfahrens die Verantwortung für definierte Sponsoraufgaben auf die Studienleitung übertragen.

Im Dekanat der Medizinischen Fakultät ist das Prodekanat für Klinische Forschung und Translation mit der qualitätsgesicherten Wahrnehmung der Sponsorpflichten beauftragt. Ausführendes Organ ist das Qualitätsmanagement Klinische Studien (QMKS).
