Understanding microdomains. Rethinking heart disease. The IRTG “Microdomains in Cardiac Disease” combines cutting-edge research and structured doctoral training between Hamburg and Paris to investigate subcellular microdomains as key mechanisms in cardiovascular diseases.
We offer a tailored graduate training programme that integrates scientific excellence, methodological diversity, and international mobility. Regular workshops, collaborative research projects, and extended research stays at the partner institution in Paris should promote continuous exchange across disciplines and national borders. In this framework, we aim at training the next generation of researchers, academic and healthcare professionals.
