International Research Training Group (IRTG) 3215
The central hypothesis of our IRTG is that subcellular microdomains are critically involved in physiological functions and, when perturbed, contribute to the development of heart failure and cardiac arrhythmias. Therefore, the scientific aim of our twelve tandem research projects (RP1—RP12) is to mechanistically understand and pharmacologically modulate these microdomains to identify better treatment options.
