We are pleased to announce a new chapter in our mission to advance cardiovascular science:
the Cardiovascular Research Center (CVRC) has evolved into the Hamburg Center for Cardiovascular Research (HCCR).
Building on the strong foundation and achievements of the CVRC, the HCCR marks a strategic step forward in fostering interdisciplinary, translational, and innovative research in cardiovascular medicine. As cardiovascular diseases continue to be a leading global health challenge, our center is dedicated to addressing complex questions through collaboration across disciplines and institutions — from basic science to clinical application.
Located in the heart of Hamburg, one of Europe’s most dynamic scientific and medical hubs, the HCCR brings together academic researchers, clinical experts, and industry partners to accelerate discovery, translation, and implementation.
