Consultation Session

  • Pulmonology Outpatient Clinic

In our outpatient clinic, we offer patients consultation sessions for different lung diseases. One of our focal points is the care of patients with pulmonary hypertension. We also have a special outpatient clinic for cystic fibrosis. Furthermore, we work together with lung physicians in private practice to treat patients with very severe asthma as well as advanced chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in our Network for Severe Asthma. Another main emphasis of our department is the treatment of patients with interstitial lung disease. As part of the Northern German Transplant Center in cooperation with the University Heart Center (UHZ), we also provide care for patients after lung transplantation.

We offer the following medical consultation sessions for our patients:

  • Private outpatient clinic
  • Pulmonary hypertension
  • Interstitial lung disease
  • Cystic fibrosis
  • Severe COPD
  • Lung transplantation (in cooperation with the UHZ)

  • Private Outpatient Clinic

    Which patients do we see?

Dr. Klose, Head of the Pulmonology Division, and his deputy head examine and advise patients with all lung diseases in the private outpatient clinic. Patients with statutory health insurance can also schedule an appointment here. However, the costs for medical services have to be paid by the patient himself, as costs are not covered by public health insurance.
