The Faculty of Medicine is committed to the advancement of women with the aim of equal representation at all levels of education and employment. An important part in the women's advancement plan of the Medical Faculty is the provision of balancing points for already successfully habilitated woman. At request of the clinic or institute in which the woman has obtained her habilitation, a ½ position for a scientist for a period of 12 months can be provided. This funding should allow for the next women’s academic qualifications. The application must be submitted within six months after the completion of a successful habilitation process. Further, the position must be occupied promptly, to ensure the continuity of funding female scientists. Additional information is available at the Equal Opportunities Office (in German) .
