With Dr Fabian Heinrich serving as Head of the Department of Epidemiology and Deputy Director of the Institute of Medical Biometry and Epidemiology at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), the Epidemiology team is once again fully staffed. The appointment of a Deputy Professor of Epidemiology underscores the commitment to strengthening epidemiological research at UKE and emphasises the importance of integrating methodology with clinical research and public health initiatives.
