May 19, 2026 - 12:30 PM Seminar Prof. Dr. Thomas Brocker
Title:
Extracellular vesicles and Lymphocytes: Mapping Their Interactions In Vivo
Hosted by Hamburg School of Infection & Immunity
Date & Time: May 19, 2026, 12:30 PM
Location: Room 01 I CFII (N25)
Prof. Dr. Thomas Brocker is Professor of Immunology at LMU Munich and heads the Institute for Immunology at the Biomedical Center. His research is centered on the regulation of adaptive immune responses, particularly the role of dendritic cells in balancing immunity and tolerance. His group investigates how antigen-presenting cells interact with T lymphocytes and how these processes influence the initiation and control of immune responses. In addition, his work explores the function of extracellular vesicles and their potential relevance as biomarkers and immunomodulatory factors in disease-associated contexts.
