Prof. Dr. Maike Frye receives Gábor Szász Prize
Prof. Dr. Maike Frye, head of the HC3R and the Vascular Biology working group at the Institute of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine, has been awarded the Gábor Szász Prize by the German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (DGKL). The prize, worth €15,000, was presented at the MedLabs Awards in Leipzig. Frye's work on the development of animal-free test systems marks a paradigm shift in laboratory medicine and exemplifies the 3R principles .
