The XVI. UCCH Research Retreat 2024 is now open for registration!

The University Cancer Center Hamburg – Hubertus Wald Tumorzentrum once again invites UKE/UCCH scientists and clinicians involved in cancer-relevant research to meet for talks and discussions in Heide-Hotel Reinstorf.

As in previous years, we are planning a one-and-a-half day lecture and poster program on various topics from experimental, clinical and translational cancer research as well as on psychosocial cancer research. The initial part of the program from Friday morning to Friday early afternoon is aimed at all groups of cancer researchers (for details, see link below). In the second part, wet lab researchers and psychosocial researchers will attend parallel program sessions.

Please note that the program for psychosocial researchers will end on Friday afternoon, requiring self-organized travel (e.g. public transport: 60-90 min to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof). For participants attending the Friday and Saturday program we will offer bus transfer as usual.

As the Retreat is funded by the Hubertus Wald Foundation and additionally by the Deutsche Krebshilfe via the Mildred Scheel Cancer Career Center, participation is free of charge, regardless of whether you will present your research project or not. However, places are limited, and precedence will be given to presenting participants.
