Eligibility to attend:

All senior and junior researchers from UCC Hamburg/UKE who are involved in cancer-relevant research are welcome to attend the UCC Hamburg Research Retreat.

Cost of attendance:

Participation is free of charge.

Do I have to give a talk or present a poster?

Attendees are encouraged to present their research project in an oral presentation or in a poster session, but there is no obligation. If you wish to give a regular or present a poster, please submit your abstract as described under "Submission of Abstracts". The decision whether your project will be presented in a regular session or in a poster session will be made by the UCC Hamburg Core Team.

An additional option to present a research topic is the new Science Slam format (see Program Highlights). If you wish to take part in this new format please tick the respective box in the registration form, and please submit a regular abstract for this format as well (see Submission of Abstracts).

When do I get definitive notice about whether I can attend and whether I can give a talk or present a poster?

You will receive definitive notice via e-mail by June 8, 2026 at the latest.
