FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions about EnTree:

  • EnTree is a digital, transdiagnostic program that can be used as an app on a smartphone (currently only Android) or tablet. The program is currently in the development phase and consists of a digital children’s book (“App”), a set of playing cards, and an online portal that allows therapists to monitor children’s progress. It is aimed at children aged 6 to 11 years with psychological challenges, their parents, and therapists.

    Using an interactive program, parents or legal guardians are encouraged to participate in EnTree together with their children.

  • Currently, the EnTree program is being developed for the age group of 6 to 11 years, with the involvement of therapists and parents or legal guardians.

  • The content of the EnTree app, as well as the design of the playing cards, will be based on many years of clinical experience with affected families and the latest scientific findings.

    They combine evidence-based, individual- and family-oriented therapeutic methods (including Unified Protocols, Res@t, CHIMPS-NET) with elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, schema therapy, and family therapy, focusing on emotion regulation, problem-solving, and mindfulness. These methods are playfully and illustratively implemented using game design principles and the Meander framework.
