Description of Workpackage 11

NABARE: Writing the National Background Reports (Pilot of the Trans-European Group)

Objectives

The production of a NABAREs has to be tested in a pilot stage prior to the production of a NABARE of about 30 pages by each of the 23 countries of the pan-European group.

Methodolody and study materials

The members 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of the core group will produce the NABAREs, simultaneously testing the feasibility of STEP for NABARE (WP 10), followed by an internal evaluation of STEP, and - if necessary - by a modification (months 5-9). Germany (Bremen) will take care that a maximum of economic data is collected. AGE will produce a report on the "European policy dimension to support family caregivers" (see WP 12) which may well vary from the structure of STEP.
