General Oncology and Hematology Consultation Hours
The general oncological and hematological consultation of the Central Contact Point of the University Cancer Center Hamburg (UCC Hamburg) is the central internal and surgical consultation for all patients who have already received a cancer diagnosis or who are suspected of having cancer.

In the daily interdisciplinary consultation hours of the UCC Hamburg, patients are seen and advised together by the respective doctors of the specialist disciplines involved for the respective tumor type (internal oncologists, surgeons, radiotherapists, etc.).
This enables an early commitment to an interdisciplinary coordinated treatment concept and thus avoids multiple presentations in the various specialist departments. All therapy proposals are discussed again in the tumor boards of the UCC Hamburg with all other specialist disciplines.
