Young Investigator Award - Health Care Research

The CHCR & PH awards the Young Investigator Award - Health Care Research & Public Health to young researchers in the field of health care research and public health.

The award is presented once a year for outstanding publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of health care research and public health that originated at the UKE or the UHH and were published in the previous year.

Aim

The aim is to promote young scientists researching at the UKE and the UHH in their work on health services research and public health and to recognise above-average work of high relevance.

Target group

The call for applications is aimed at young scientists from all medical and non-medical disciplines who have completed their studies (Master's degree)/doctorate no longer than 5 years ago.

Evaluation

The work will be evaluated by a jury (annually changing members of the CHCR & PH board).

Prize

  • The prize is endowed with 500€.
  • The award ceremony and presentation of the work will take place at the Young Researchers' Day on Health Services Research at the UKE.

Criteria for the evaluation of the junior researchers' work

  • Relevance to health services research
  • Innovative methodological or content-related character of the scientific work
  • Scientific quality
