Welcome to the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Cognition

The Institute of Molecular and Cellular Cognition (IMCC) was established at the Center for Molecular Neurobiologie Hamburg (ZMNH ) under the direction of Prof. Dr. Dietmar Kuhl.

Its research focuses on the analysis of genes and proteins that play a pivotal role in the physiology and pathophysiology of learning and memory. In integrative research approaches, the IMCC scientists investigate the molecular and cellular mechanisms of learning and memory using mouse genetics to bridge molecular biology, biochemistry, electrophysiology, systems biology and behaviour. Interview Prof. Dietmar Kuhl (in German)

Current job offers can be found on the institute's News website, information about practical courses on the ZMNH teaching website .
