Participation of IMBE in Medical Research

The Institute of Medical Biometry and Epidemiology provides methodological support for clinical and epidemiological studies. This includes

  • Planning of Clinical and Epidemiological Studies (including Sample Size Calculation and Application)
  • Organizing the Clinical Trial Process
  • Managing Ongoing Clinical Trials
  • Conducting Interim Analyses
  • Quality Assessment / Data Plausibility
  • Data Analysis
  • Preparing manuscript for publication / Final Report
  • Editing Reviews

These tasks are conducted in close cooperation with clinicians, health service researchers and general physicians with whom the required grants and funding for research could also be jointly applied and further published.
