Understanding the immune response to vaccines during pregnancy and its effects on maternal and children’s health
Vaccinating during pregnancy reduces maternal infections and related health risks. It also enhances neonatal immunity via transplacental antibody transfer. However, the immune changes during pregnancy are often overlooked when designing vaccination strategies. We seek to address these gaps to improve vaccination effectiveness during pregnancy.
