The CRC 1713 will generate complex quantitative data, encompassing genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and imaging data obtained from preclinical models, study participants, and patients, alongside longitudinal electronic health records. Yet, with the advent of high-throughput technologies in immunology – resulting in vast amounts of data at an unprecedented speed and depth – the translation of such data into meaningful insights has become a bottleneck in today’s scientific research. The supporting projects C01 and INF are designed to overcome these challenges.
INF will provide a centrally coordinated, flexible, and innovative infrastructure that enables integration, storage, and dissemination of data acquired within the pregnancy. C01 leverages the data provided by the INF project to provide standardized analysis workflows and statistical solutions to all CRC projects. To propel the career of excellent medical, midwife and PhD students in the cross-disciplinary field of reproduction, a comprehensive, structured thesis programme entitled PREPARE will be established within the CRC 1713.
