The Home treatment team offers help, crisis intervention, counselling and treatment in your own environment. You can contact us if you think that a relative or a friend needs help or in case of first or recurrent crisis, in particular outside normal working hours.
Moreover, the Home treatment team offers long-term personal care management and tries to reach patients for whom it is difficult to come to the psychiatric clinic.
The team consists of a psychiatrist, three psychologists and a specialist nurse with a focus on family therapy. Embedded in the Workgroup Psychoses and networking with practising colleagues, we endeavour to avoid hospitalisations.
Sometimes, you shy away from getting help in time, although you know that is is necessary. Sometimes, you also avoid inviting "strangers" inside your own four walls. Therefore, you have to summon up some confidence in us, which we will try to justify. We will also respect and not touch your private sphere as far as possible.
