Das MKT+ ist eine Weiterentwicklung des Metakognitiven Trainings für schizophrene Patienten (MKT; www.uke.de/mkt). Das MKT+ verbindet den prozessorientierten Ansatz des Gruppentrainings mit Elementen der Psychoedukation und individueller kognitiver Verhaltenstherapie (u.a. Übertragung der Lerneinheiten zu voreiligem Schlussfolgern und anderen Denkverzerrungen auf Erfahrungen, Alltagsbeobachtungen und Symptome des Patienten). Jedes Modul besitzt zahlreiche Übungen, die den individuellen Bedürfnissen und Problemen des Patienten angepasst werden können. Eine randomisierte Kontrollgruppenstudie belegt, dass das MKT+ neben der Schwere des Wahns auch kognitive Verzerrungen - über die Wirkung von Neuroleptika hinaus - signifikant reduziert (Moritz et al., in press, Psychological Medicine). Da das MKT+ im Springer-Verlag erschienen ist, können wir Ihnen leider nur ein paar Ausschnitte unten zeigen. MCT+ pursues the aim to deepen and adapt the learning objectives of the group MCT for the individual client. If you are not familiar with group MCT, please visit the website www.uke.de/mkt first. MCT+ combines the process-oriented approach of the group training with elements from individual cognitive-behavioral therapy (i.e. transfer of learning units relating to jumping to conclusions and other biases, to individual experiences, observations, and symptoms of the patient. Each module involves multiple exercises that are adapted to the individual needs and problems of the patient). The below presentation is only preliminary and has been translated from the 2009 MCT+ version. Hopefully, the German MCT+ will be translated into English by the end of 2010.
