Wisenschaftliche Tätigkeit seit Abschluss des Studiums:Seit 1995 Aufbau der MS-Ambulanz an der Uniklinik Hamburg mit multizentrischen Studien und ca. 1800 Patienten im Register, Arbeiten zu Aktivitätsmarker, Lebensqualität, Aufklärung und Scoringsystemen, später zur Stressregulation mit klinischen und pharmakologischen stresexperimentellen Untersuchungen, BMGS-Projekt zur Partizipation seit 2001 mit 2 nationalen Studien zur evidenzbasierten Patienteninformation, Studien zu Mechanismen und Therapie des Fatigue, Evaluation der Versorgungslage in Hamburg.
