Responsibilities
The working group Hospital Research sees its main function in providing objective criteria for information regarding need for action in the social system hospital as well as analysing information to support decision making processes. The studies are based on patient and staff surveys which have been continuously analysed and processed since 1994. Apart from the development and testing of measuring instruments, our research also includes scientific monitoring of hospital projects in the areas of health promotion and quality management.

Collaboration with the section "patient surveys", part of the working group of VdAK (Association of Health Insurances for Employees) and German Medical Association. Main focus on developing standards for patient surveys as part of the certification process for hospitals (KTQ, completed)
