The scientific service includes systems biology applications like microarray technologies and mass spectrometry.

Day after day approx. 18,000 measured values are obtained from approx. 3,500 samples. This is on average 6.5 million results a year.
Eleven research associates work in the Clinical Chemistry Department and there or 63 members of the technical staff. Thirteen Postdocs, scientits and students are financed through external funding.
